Harry Brecheen
Harry Brecheen was my mother-in-law's, Evelyn (Bassett) Ford favorite player growing up. She sent him a note asking for a picture and this was his response!

- Inducted into the St. Louis Cardinals HOF - 2018
- 2x All-Star.
- 2x World Series winner
- Won 3 games in the 1946 WS against the Red Sox.
- Led the NL in ERA (2.24), shutouts (7), and strikeouts (149) in 1948.
- Served as the Baltimore Orioles' first pitching coach from 1954-67
