- Holds the single-season franchise record for home runs hit as an outfielder (41) and RBIs as a center fielder (110). 

- Shares club records for most consecutive games hitting a HR (5) and most times reaching base in consecutive plate appearances (12).

- Ranks 2nd among Cardinals outfielders behind Curt Flood with 6 Gold Gloves.

- Ranks 2nd in franchise history in postseason HRs (13) and RBIs (41).  Stands 2nd in club history in NLCS homers (6) and RBIs (20), and 3rd in hits (29).

- Set a NL career records for extra-base hits (15) and doubles (8) in Division Series play.

- Stands 3rd in NLCS history with 12 career extra-base hits (12)

- Was a MLB All-Star 6 times.
